EP-8 1-8x28 FFP LPVO | Illum. KLBOX | 34mm Tube
The LPVO (Low Power Variable Optic) has long since earned its place, bridging the gap from holographic/red-dot types to high magnification optics not traditionally well suited in CQC (Close Quarter Combat) situations. With ever increasing capability, the LPVO has become a staple, allowing tactical teams and competitive shooters to get the most out of any particular member instantly. The EP-8 1x-8x thing edges and wide FOV (Field of View) make this true 1x perfect for close quarters, with a quick throw of the lever to 8x increasing effective range at a moments notice.

SCOPE SEEMS TO BE OF VERY GOOD QUALITY. I LIKE THE 34MM TUBE. IT GATHERS LOTS OF LIGHT. THE GLASS SEEMS PRETTY CLEAR AND DOESNT EXIBIT THE CLOUDYNESS THAT A COUPLE OTHER WE T&E'D DID AT MAX POWER. THE RETICLE IS NICE AND SEEMS EASY TO USE.
TGThane G.Verified buyerVery much like the scopes you make. But I am retired Army, and would much appreciate scope reticles that are for the harvesting of wildlife instead of killing people. That’s what the military is for. Leave that for the military to do. We need to stop fueling the fear of being shot by our neighbors. Your LPVO scopes are ideal in operation and magnification for 90% of the deer harvested every year.. I would much prefer a reticle that helps me with range calculations and wind corrections. Thank you.
CBCarl B.Verified buyerThe build quality of this optic is very good. The illuminated reticle is daylight bright and is perfect for combat accuracy. The zoom adjustment is smooth and the included throw lever is just the right size. I couldn’t be happier with this purchase.
JMJames M.Verified buyerThe battery cap that came with it did not work, but the team was quick to resolve the issue otherwise great lpvo!
JMJosue M.Verified buyerI haven't received it yet but I like everything I own that Arken makes, and they are a great company.

Is this scope rated for medium and heavy magnum rifle calibers such as 375 H&H and 458 Win Mag?
Yes, we have many 50 cals running then and the SCARs etc.
Is the illumination daylight bright, or close to daylight bright? I have an SH-4J, and the illumination on that is not at all daylight bright.
Daylight bright on the LVPO's the traditional optics were never designed for daylight bright but lowlight use or into a shadow or a black target
How dows this baby perform with .22 lr (legitimate question)? Will I need to do any custom calculus or will it perform as measured for 556, etc? Primary Distance @ 50-100m Play Distance @ 200-300m Vibe Checks & Laughs @ 300+
You would need to develop your own dope.. as it is optimized or set up basically as a BDC type reticle.
Will it hold up to the violent action of a Scar 17
yes and is warranted
SAYS ZERO STOP but definitely doesn't have this option as far as I can tell and the manual doesn't provide any guidance on this option. Is there ZERO STOP or not?
There is no zero stop on the LVPO's
